Apparently my landlord is sending letters out to the agencies I'm involved with, claiming I refuse to let maintenance into the apartment to do repairs. This coming on the heels of his intimidation tactics this past Friday wherein he got angry that I wouldn't sign paperwork saying I wanted to stay in the apartment.
I explained to him that I wouldn't sign anything until the repairs were done. And once they were done, I'd think about my next step, but that I wasn't going to risk my housing assistance.
My landlord is a piece of slime.
ETA: Just called the leasing office, no one is there, phone calls fwed to the security desk. Given that yesterday was a holiday - which I forgot - then seriously him telling me people would be coming by this week, starts today. And wtf is with talking to me on Friday about people passing by if he already sent out a letter daying I CANCELED MAINTENANCE - the fucking liar!
Also, I'm being told if I 'break my lease' by leaving, even though if I don't leave I may lose my housing assistance, then I don't get security deposit help.
This is so fucked up.
