Not mentioning my panic spiral until after therapy tomorrow (unless the landlord and maintanence terrify me or fuck up hugely on Wed morning before I get to therapy)
So...
Things That Annoy Me:
1. Being treated like a spam bot when using openid on lj. Prove I'm human, my arse! Also it takes 3 tries to get the damn thing to work.
2. The: You are about to view content that may not be appropriate for minors - shite on livejournal. Doesn't look like that will be fixed at any point in time so that people can see warnings and other prelude stuff before that mandatory cut of stupidty. Are you talking about your cat getting shots? Have you posted a fic? I dunno. It makes being over on livejournal in order to comment really effing annoying.
3. The idiots who're already organizing a picket of HL's funeral because he was quote - " a fag enabler". I thought about linking, decided against it.
ETA: Clarified Fag Enabler is their term.

Maintenance showed up at 10am, an hour late. Took them 12 mins to put on the joint compound. Now it has to dry, then they'll be back and paint over it. I say nothing about how disgusting things looked when they scrapped off the blistered paint. I no longer give a crap. I want it painted and then gone so I can clean up all the stuff they're not too careful about dropping and the landlord can call for a new inspection and I can calm down and have 6 months to think.
PS: I do not like people peeking at everything I have, ever curious. G-rah but I hate strangers in my residence.
12:03pm - The nasty rotten look hole that was covered with joint compound is leaking. Oddly enough it hadn't leaked noticeably for about three days so I actually thought the problem was fixed. But I guess now that they removed all the icky paint and who knows wtf ever that was blocking the leak - it's back, seeping through the joint compound. I called the office and told them to let the office manager and maintenance know.
This is not making me feel hopeful this place will pass inspection thus allowing me 6 months of get my shit together time.

In another news, Scribblet's taking a year and a day to load, still. I can't get in there and change stuff in my profile that I'd prefer was private. And the damn thing now won't hold to my viewing options.
iJay has spoiled me. I'm very used to a thing working the way it is supposed to work.
And now a script has stopped responding. Heavens have mercy.
ETA: Now it's letting me have the pink viewing scheme, but not the green one that I actually like. Hells bells sells. And pink seems to make lit load faster. Not by much, half a year instead of the year and full day.
And there is not much bloody point in working on a journal layout design if things won't load.

It is now some 2 hours after I originally posted this and my profile still won't load and I can't add a staff member's journal. So no friending for me, no sorting out who can see what basic information.

(in case you were wondering, yes I've had to cancel my therapy appt. I only just finshed moving -some- things. Moving more will wear me out completely. And I don't know yet if I should move/shuffle things around where I have boxes of my belongings in the living room and set up the computer there or what. - Oh yeah, the landlord just said he's coming to help me move things personally. I so don't give a fuck right now. So don't.)

Couldn't find a battery, so didn't get to take photos of the mess before they cleaned it up some. Installing software now for camera, will see what if any photos came out. Took me a while as they place round the corner (cvs) doesn't have anything and so I had to take the train to a RiteAid. At least I know for sure now that they can't get into my apt without me (cause I do have the only key).
So again, waiting to see what kind of pictures this teeny thing took - wish I didn't feel so uncomfortable taking pictures in front of maintence but I just don't trust them. Cause they still work for this guy, even when discussing how stupid he thinks black folk are.
Found out 3 other apts currently have a piece of cardboard up over a hole in their roof cause they were dealing with the self same problem.
Supposedly 4 apts in disrepair is getting him to get a roofer out.
Then again we all thought he had the roofers out to fix things at at least 6 incidences prior to today's mess. (rebooting)

at picking out inexpensive digital cameras. Why yes I only want to spend under $20 and I thought 'hey' I could reuse it again. Well fuck. 16$ down the crapper.
I didn't want majestic panaramas. I wanted crummy washed out, grey and beige, slightly spotty views of the cardboard etc. Bloody, bleeding pus filled hell.
I don't want to spend the money on an expensive digital camera either, because it's fine tuned tech - which I can frazzle.
Damn, I should try again. But fuck damn. If I could solder, I'd so try and do the Hack for the Pharmacy Camera. That camera didn't bugger out on me.
And oh, when my family takes photos around me, they use a 70's Cameron - more mechanics than electricity. Problem is, I'm horrible in remembering film, getting or developing. I don't have a scanner. And getting things put on CD is often the cost of one of these stupid cameras that loathes me.
And fussing about with the camera, the dinner I spent money on's grown cold.
I suppose I should be greatful thre's only sprinklings of ugh and not full ugh, so I don't have to move my desk and computer (since the landlord never showed up to 'help' and I'm so bloody sore. Also haven't slept at all. Not last night. Not with people to be coming at 9 in the frickign AM.)

6:38pm. My landlord just spent 15 mins, maybe a little more telling me all about how he wants to help and I'm smart and different from the other tenants but he's getting fed up with having tenants who get assitance because always the housing authority is bothering him And he's not a slum lord, he renovated and everything has new appliances and he has two other agencies he's dealing with and and and.
And I'm exhausted and seriously I just nodded and made it clear that I want my unit to pass inspection and in order for that to happen - it needs the roof fixed.
Now the maintenance guys (which he's fed up of having to baby sit, he says) have said he should have fixed the roof a long time ago, the roof of the entire building is shot. But he says it's only a few apartments that have problems because the water ran or travelled and he wants to wait until the water dries up before he has anything done.
And then there was some more 'Why someone tries to sabatage his building. He's a good person. He trusts in G-d. He knows I trust in G-d.;....
*so exhausted*

iJay schemes. The Beta's. Worksafe is sidebar now. No drop down. As much as I like sidebary on livejournal, I really enjoyed the colorscheme of what is now Worksafe with the ease of drop down.

In other news my cat's going crazy cause I locked her out of the computer room. However, I'm too fricking tired to move my shit around to put the computer table and machine in the living room (thus me nodding numbly at landlord) but I can't have her in here as she wants to lick and sniff the residual icky brown stuff.
Can we say 'Hell no vet bills no go?' Yes we can. We meaning me.
So her furry ass is outside.
I kind of miss her, but they'd been talking about me sleeping on the carpet of some vacant apartment for the night with no net access and no actual bed. I'd much rather be here (where it's crappy but full of my stuff) than somewhere else that's crappy and a big fat unknown.

been up for ages, going to bed now - don't want to, but all my heat's escaping through the hole (or feels like it) and it's going on past 24 hrs.
