Just spent almost an hour (45 mins or so) shifting more things from the back bedroom. Not in any sort of orderly packing and exodus. But because the bucket that catches the nasty water from the (now even nastier, mold encrusted, LARGER) hole in there is full. I'm in no shape at all to empty that bucket. So i dragged boxes across the floor to take them to the outer room so once the inevitable happens - bucket overflowing - my stuff doesn't get wet and icky and gross.
Not everything is out, of course. Cause again, I AM LIMPING and in pain. But I got a good bit of the last out and I moved some stuff closer to the door and further away from where the mess will spread by the hole and bucket. And of course the living area feels even more crowded now, but -whatever-. I'm moving. Just hve to remind myself of that.
Now to recover so I can go do the movign errands I'd had planned for today, like photocopying, etc.
Maybe if I feel better, I'll completely remove everything from the back room.
Make that if I feel better and can figure out where to put everything. I still have no idea how exactly I'm meant to pack in this kind of confusion. My solution of bagging might actually be the only solution. Since the more stuff I bag (and thus can lightly handle) the more I'll be able to get to the boxes that need taping down. A kind of minimal organization.
Haven't eaten yet and my anxieties are going 200% and counting. Need to send off the lease despite the pain I'm in today. Or maybe I just won't bother with photocopying it and just hobble downstairs and stick it in the mailbox in the lobby.

Ok, y'know what I don't get? I don't get that. Since when has voting for something that oppresses the minority ever really worked? How does the oppressed minority, get the non oppressed majority to favour them in passing a bill?
Aren't the Supreme Courts, isn't the court system, setting precedents one of the three balanced prong of America's governing system?
And 'abandoning its role as an objective interpreter of the law' ??? How does it get more objective than saying; people are people, these things do not make this group of people, less than people, so we're going to treat them like PEOPLE!
And this? 'We know that it's in the best interest of children to be raised with a mother and a father.' Does this mean they're ok with single women having abortions? Since the child won't grow up with a mother and a father? Because I sure don't hear that argument in the midst of all the pro and anti.
I mean, last I looked they'd renamed late term abortions as partial birth as if they were getting marketing ideas from the director of the SAW movies.
So can a single woman get an abortion and be in the right in their eyes if she says 'There will be no father. This would be a radical and deplorable experiment in child raising!'
Also, are they coming to take children away from Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Cousins & In-Laws, because those aren't 'a mother and a father' households?
Then again they say 'To use children as guinea pigs in radical San Francisco-style social experimentation is deplorable.' So maybe they will. Maybe these anti equal marriage folk are models overflowing with the milk of human kindness, in a balanced and seemingly blessed marriage with their opposite sex partner and everything is perfect except for their horrid childlessness.
Oh wait. Milk of human kindness includes compassion.

Note to self:
If you know a planned arc will be triggery in someone's fic. Then the ENTIRE FIC will be triggery from that moment of realization. No part of it WILL EVER BE SAFE.
Friendship is not enough of a reason to have problems breathing and to want to puke.
