Morning & Apt of Lies
Paid Rent. Got photocopy of money order. Will be able to pick up receipt later on in the day.

He was there this morning. He did try it again. I was so anxious and upset I got mad and talked to him, right up to and including if he wanted to take me to court and waste his money, he could. Called what he was doing bullshit.

He got upset that I was cursing and started talking about how it was all confusing.

ONLY to then try and slap me down about how he can inquire about anything to do with my housing assistance case # so I can't say he did anything illegal - it's within the legal boundaries for him to find out about my new place and possible landlord using that #.

He seemed like at last here was something he could tell me I was wrong about.

BUT I TALKED TO AN AGENT TODAY / this morning, and she's the one who told me that they have ways of getting around the fact that they're NOT supposed to stalk me/ get information about me like that.

But as long as he accepted the check and gave me a photo-copy (dated) until the woman who deals with recipts come in. I'm ok with him getting to say whatever.

I KNOW that it's an over extension of what he's allowed to do to "Make inquires about my case #" And I also know that if he can pop up all about "That's separate from HIPPA and privacy laws and blahblah laws" then he can't be as confused as he's claiming to be, trying to get me to pay outside of what I actually owe.

Though given that I've now paid for ALL of May, I'm going to take the first week of the month off to recover from this bullshit.

No, it's downright jerky. He was all "It's so confusing." Until I hit a point he felt he could defend. And I tried to let him know he was misrepresenting himself. But at that point I just wanted to leave, knowing that I'd paid my rent.

He was all 'Let's get you out of the building swiftly'.

But me moving is not likely to get me to stop agitating or joining forces with the other tentants. I wasn't going to before. But damn if I won't lend them an arm to lean on now if this is the bullshit he's playing.
