I think by not telling my landlady to be everything going on with me, I let her think I was procrastinating instead of in health crisis. So I explained and emailed a good faith pdf of the form she needs. I plan to give her the inked sign one tomorrow.

I didn't get much of a reply back other than an enthusiastic thank you.

I am very confused. Very very confused.

And a little hopeful. But I want to beat the hope down until it bleeds. Cause I'm confused and the world makes no damn sense. I mean, I didn't want to be a sob story. I ...

It can really be a Catch-22 trying to decide how much to tell people and how they'll perceive you as a result. But it sounds like she'll understand; everything you've said about her makes her seem like a good person. I hope the paperwork proceeds without any more complications.
